The churches and private art studios of Mario Vespasiani and Eugenio Cellini should be open most of the days during the festival (all of them are worth a visit!!), but we have put together a September 24 itinerary to make sure people have a chance to see some of the spaces with limited access. 11:00-11:45 Fiuto Art Space & “Fare Una Comunità”
Fiuto Art Space will open at 10:00, but at 11:00 the curator, Alex Urso will give a short presentation about this unique space. After the presentation he will lead the group a few hundred meters away to see his recent public art installation, “Fare una Comunità, which is a surprisingly power piece of urban art. The presentation will be in English.
12:00-1:00 Museo Sistino Vescovile di Ripatransone & Museo Civico di Palazzo Bonomi Gera
This guided tour will begin at Museo Sistino Vescovile (Sacred art museum in the big building close to the main cathedral in the center of town) and then head to the Museo Civico di Palazzo Bonomi Gera, It may also provide some history of the theater where we are doing our program. This is a great chance (and possibly only chance this week) to visit the beautiful Palazzo Bonomi Gera, which is worth a visit, even just to see its beautiful salon from the 1500s. The presentation will be in Italian, but we have a dedicated translator on the tour.
3:00-4:00 Museo della Civiltà Contadina ed Artigiana
This museum of agriculture and traditional living is fascinating and well worth a visit. The visit is self-guided. The pasta making masterclass will be taking place in this museum, so if you are taking the class, you can just stay after your museum visit.
4:00-6:30 Pasta Making Master Class with chef Alessandro Capecci

4:00-6:00 FOCAL / Algam Eko VIP event (Teatro Luigi Mercantini)
This time is set aside so Focal and their distributor can present the Utopia main speakers to their dealers, but our group is welcome to visit. If you are not taking the pasta making class, you are welcome to explore the theater and learn about the speakers.
6:30-8:00 Opening Night Aperitivo at Bar Sammagno
Let’s all meet up for a drink to celebrate the launch of the festival and make new friends. The bar is 2 meters from the entrance to the theater.
9:30 – 10:30 Opera Concert (Teatro Luigi Mercantini)
Get a chance to experience the theater as it was intended when it was built over 200 years ago. An outstanding collection of opera singers will present a short concert.
