Pasta Making Master Class with chef Alessandro Capecci
One of the highlights of the our cultural program is a pasta class with Ripano master chef Alessandro Capecci on the afternoon of September 24 at 4pm.
In this hands-on class, Alessandro will teach you to make pasta from scratch to create tagliatelle and ravioli. You will also learn to make the region’s most famous treat, Olive Ascolane, which are olives stuffed and fried.
You will cook and eat what you have learned in the lesson.
The class will about 2.5 to 3 hours. Alessandro speaks Italian, but there will be a dedicated English translator for every step of the process. Because of material and facilities costs, there is a 40 Euro fee for this class. The class size is limited and we will not be able to accommodate all festival participants, so advanced registration is required.
